Международный валютный фонд (МВФ) повысил свой прогноз для Азиатско-Тихоокеанского региона, заявив, что подъем в регионе будет в первую очередь связан с восстановлением экономики Китая и устойчивым ростом в Индии. Об этом сообщает CNBC со ссылкой на отчет фонда.

Организация ожидает, что ВВП Азиатско-Тихоокеанского региона увеличится на 4,6 процента в этом году, что на 0,3 процентных пункта выше ее прогноза в октябре. В 2022 году аналогичный показатель составил 3,8 процента. Согласно последнему прогнозу МВФ, рост экономики региона составит примерно 70 процентов от глобального, а на две крупнейшие экономики Азии — Индию и Китай — придется около 50 процентов мирового годового роста.

Хотя организация снизила свои прогнозы по ВВП Индии на 0,2 процента, там по-прежнему ожидают, что экономика этой страны увеличится на 5,9 процента в 2023 году. Улучшены ожидания по сравнению с октябрьским отчетом для Китая, Филиппин, Лаоса и Малайзии.

При этом фонд снизил ожидания для всех развитых стран региона. По мнению МВФ, более сильный внешний спрос со стороны Китая даст некоторую передышку таким государствам, однако другие внутренние и внешние факторы приведут к тому, что экономический рост в регионе, не включая Китай и Индию «достигнет дна в 2023 году». Оценка экономического роста Японии в 2023 году упала до 1,3 процента на фоне «слабого внешнего спроса и инвестиций», а также после разочаровывающих данных в последнем квартале 2022 года. Для Австралии и Новой Зеландии МВФ прогнозирует, что ослабление внутреннего спроса из-за ужесточения политики центральных банков понизит перспективы роста в текущем году до 1,6 и 1,1 процента соответственно.
